HashNET is proud to announce its participation in the preparatory event for the upcoming EU matchmaking process of the IPCEI-CIS, hosted under the Presidency of Slovenia to the European Council. This event will take place on 22 July 2021, starting at 10:00 am and serves as a platform for industrial stakeholders, researchers, and academic institutions involved or intending to participate in the IPCEI-CIS.

Event Overview

Purpose:
The preparatory event will facilitate initial discussions and align project proposals for the integrated European initiative under the IPCEI framework. Only selected projects from Member States will progress to the EU matchmaking process, scheduled for 29 September 2021 in Ljubljana, health conditions permitting.

Agenda:

  • Morning Session (Part 1):
    • Opening remarks from the Slovenian EU Presidency, the European Commission, and Member State Coordinators.
    • Presentation of the current state of IPCEI-CIS activities.
    • Overview of business requirements for IPCEI notification.
  • Morning Session (Part 2):
    • Parallel breakout sessions corresponding to the five value chain steps of IPCEI-CIS.
    • Project representatives will pitch ideas to a wide audience, fostering collaboration for the Multi-Provider Cloud-Edge Continuum.

Next Steps:
The event will conclude with a roadmap leading to the matchmaking process and an introduction to the functionalities of the common collaboration platform.
